TUM Venture Labs and Sustainable Aero Lab Launch Official Cooperation
Hamburg/Munich, November 30th, 2023 – TUM Venture Labs, a joint initiative of Technical University of Munich, the top-ranked institution in the EU, and UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s largest entrepreneurship center, with the focus of forming scalable deep-tech and life science start-ups, and Sustainable Aero Lab, the leading accelerator program for start-ups in sustainable aviation, will join forces in supporting start-ups working on the future of flight. The announcement was made at the Sustainable Aero Lab’s mentoring session in Hamburg today.
Both players will further align their activities around young companies working on sustainable products or services in the aviation field. The two organizations will collaborate with events, harmonizing their support programs and facilitating access to each other’s resources for the start-ups, both in terms of infrastructure and expertise.
“With this collaboration, we aim to bring together two organizations from the two largest hubs of the German aerospace industry to establish a leading platform for entrepreneurs working towards the future of aviation,” says Florian Doetzer, Managing Director of TUM Venture Lab Aerospace.
“Sustainable Aero Lab is already the leading accelerator program for start-ups in sustainable aviation, having worked with over 60 companies worldwide in the past two years. We are looking forward to connecting deeper with the network of TUM as a next step”, says Stephan Uhrenbacher, Founder and CEO of the Sustainable Aero Lab.
